Well I'm back again, I find I can't eat any other way but L/C.
I see it's been a bit quiet around the Diary Section, I hope to imput my bit a bit more often.

The basics?

Well no caffeine, no booze and no non essential medication for at least 2 weeks. A few vitamins and minerals and for the first fortnight you go on a one fairly normal low carb meal and 2 protein shake protocol (3 shakes if you want an extra one).

Oh and some blood letting as well if you want to get rid of some of those toxins ... and give them to someone in intensive care! Laughing

Sound tempting? Wink

Sounds interesting, but the coffee & tea would be a problem for me at the moment.

You can get decaf versions of both - but if you think you are likely to get bad withdrawal symptoms (doesn't seem to affect me at all), it is better to taper off a bit before you start - perhaps gradually replacing full strength with decaf some of the time.

Thanks Loz,
Temp is not too bad, it's the humidity that knocks me about, it makes walking during the day almost impossible.
Got my weight down to 186.5.

Razz Still on track, down to 181.6 not finding it hard to keep on track, I've worked out my veggie's, every day I have 200gm of the salad, and 200gm of the other allowed ones, but I limit them to mainly Broc, cabbage, cauli, spinach, & beans. Laughing

Cool Still doing O.K. Had lunch at Port City Bowling Club today, very surprised, I had no foods I should not have eaten (not sure about the little bit of Black bean Sauce).
That' Smile s the first time there that I have not had Fish & chips, Sweet & Sour Pork, and Sweets.
Quite happy with the day, (exept the $10 I lost on the Pokies)

Sad Need to have a blood test for glucose tolerance, they tell me I must eat a lot of high carb stuff, which I'm not too happy about, but i suppose i had better do what they suggest. Rolling Eyes

Yes, normally for 2 or 3 days before, but when they say "a lot" - normally about 150g - so don't treat it as an excuse to have a carb binge!! On the day they will give you a glucose drink with 75g of carbs in it (on an empty stomach) - but after that you are back on the straight and narrow - in fact if the test reveals you are a diabetic, that is just one more reason to be a happy healthy low carber for life (and a VERY good reason at that) ... so don't even think of listening to the advice you will get ... ok?? Razz

Doing great Nev. Smile
